The ruler of Alexandria, Queen Brahne, has started using advanced weapons--not normal weapons--magical weapons. She is using these to quell her greedy thirst for the control of the other kingdoms. Princess Garnet Til Alexandros XVII decides to escape the castle and seek help from the ruler of Lindblum and her uncle, Regent Cid. Whilst trying to escape at her own free will, a gang of thieves and traveling performers try to kidnap her and take her to Lindblum. It is not just her mother that is worrying Garnet, however. A mysterious man with flowing white hair has also been seen around the castle and she fears that he may be behind her mother's strange behavior as of late. She hurries to Lindblum to meet with her uncle and discuss what could be done about the strange activities going on in the palace. Though in traditional style, not all goes according to plan...
