The June issue of Game Informer has not even hit shelves yet and sites all over the place are already exposing its supposed contents. While this does kind of ruin your anticipation for the mag if you are a subscriber, it gives news junkies something to do in the meantime.

Namco Bandai has announced plans to release its answer to Wii Fit; the Family Trainer game complete with Dance Mat for Europe. The game will be released as Active Life: Athletic World in the US. The dance mat takes a number from the DDR mats with middle controls for each foot.

Some new screens have surfaced for the new WiiWare title from Square Enix. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as King takes up where the original Crystal Chronicles on GameCube left off, gamers will play Leo the Little King, a member of the Clavat-race with special powers called “The Architect”. This special power comes from the crystals and you will use them to build a new country in the barren lands. To use “The Architect” special powers, you must acquire skills found in dungeons and instead of exploring them yourself - you send mages and warriors to do the dirty work for you.

EA Sports FaceBreaker will feature Suretone/Artwerk band From First To Last. The band has three songs premiering as part of the FaceBreaker soundtrack and are rendered as animated characters in the game.

Despite the issues reported with the first GRID demo released for the PC, Codemasters has fixed all blackouts and has submitted a new demo that is glitch free. You can get it by clicking on the badge below.

As promised late last year, DivX, Inc. has announced that DivX encoding is now available to developers for use in creating high quality DivX video for PS3 games. The PS3 will be the first console to support DivX video playback.
