The Macintosh OS-X version of Gladiator Trials II has been released. So for all those waiting, it's finally arrived! It's Universal too.
The first major update to Gladiator Trials II has been released, offering a huge list of improvements. The editor has been simplified, and is now free from scripting without any sacrifice to power or flexibility. The first 3 scenarios have been overhauled and represent a much faster pace with more frantic action. New optimizations decrease the game's loading times dramatically, and AI improvements bring a more cunning opponent to the Arena field.
For those that have tried Gladiator Trials II previously, it's highly recommended to download and try this new release. It offers a new experience that you may just find irresistible. The scripting require for Events in the Arena Editor are now gone, replaced by a GUI. The flexibility and functionality of Events has also been increased in the process! Smaller save files and new Scenario Editor features, a few AI fixes/improvements are also in the update. To top it off, some nice optimizations were added to really speed up the loading.
The first three scenarios in the campaign have been improved, and while saved games are compatable it's recommended to not load a saved game during the first three scenarios. Any saves after the 3rd won't be affected. The improvements offer a faster pace and more frantic action early on, with the library gained in the 2nd scenario instead of the 3rd.
