I wasn't going to make another one of these, but with all the talk of realism in the forums concerning the pending release of FIFA 2002, I needed to do something with 2001 to make it playable until 2002 comes out. Instead of speeding the ball up to make the passing and through balls more functional (as I've done in the past), I've cut the air resistance settings way down to make the ball go farther using a normal ball speed. This gives the game a more fluid and strategic feel, while providing better passing and shooting than in the original aimain. Your CPU opponents are going to score from the top of the box alot more as well. If you like lightning passes and game speed set to "normal" (or faster still) you may not like this patch, but if you're into real football simulation, you might.
