Thank you for downloading this mod! This is patched version of the mod. It doesn't give you anything new, but I've made all the changes that you've suggested. Plus there are a few minor bug fixes.

Usage
=====
There are two downloads. One is the patched mpm (mod) file, the other is the patch, in the form of a data folder.
If you have the mpm file, the you do not need to download the patch. It's a standard mod file, place it in your Max Payne folder.
If you have the data patch version, please copy the 'data' folder into your Max Payne directory. Rename or delete any existing 'data' folders, before you copy the file.
Run Max Payne, and choose katana from the mod list.
To play the mod choose the katana weapon. There's no new player skin, so it should run ok with existing saves.

You may extract, use or modify the mpm file for your own means, provided it is not for commercial gain, and you credit the authors, primarily Maddieman.
This mod originally contained content from a variety of mods, including Kung Fu 2.0, and Matrixed Reality. While I have thoroughly gone through this mod several times to make sure that none of that content remains,if I have missed something - e-mail me. Credit goes to the respective authors.

Katana v2
=========
The version2 will have a larger variety of death animations. Including many more dismemberment routines in the style of the popular psx game Tenchu. Using bullet time and new camera paths to produce specatular results, Maddieman promises an experience never seen before in Max Payne. Also included is a special 'dynamic dismemberment' system, allowing the player to amputate limbs according to the movements of the katana. You can expect a demo version of this mod to appear at MPHQ, very soon.
Trinity v1
==========
The character that Matrix mods neglected. Includes improved long jump, patented crane jump kick, and much more! (NOTE, the skin in the video is an alpha, and will not be included with the katana mod). This mod may or may not contain material from other Matrix mods. UPDATE: The two Matrix Total Conversion teams, True Matrix, and The Matrix Tc, have both shown interest in this skin, and may include it in their mods!
Camera Paths Tutorial
