My Max Payne Modification was created when I decided I should mod Max Payne as it was rather new and very cool. So I started to learn the messaging system and started to change, tweak, edit some things. Finaly deciding to make a mod out of all this and put some fun improvments in. Thus came the Lash mod (named by chappis) I got hold of the Kung Fu mod from Kenneth Yeung and thought it would be a wicked idea to put that in mine and change it a bit. I have quite alot of changes in this mod, mostly improvments to weapons, weapon sounds, skins, enemys, enemy AI and new weapons. But remember this is realy just a mess around mod, has no story, just a different feel to it. You select an old level and play. But I always keep in mind when modding.. "Every little detail, makes every little diference."
V2 Changes & New Features:

V2 Changes:
- Lots more improvments to the Max Payne game physics & A.I
- All Weapons tweaked for realism - proper gun clip/mag sizes, realistic damage, bullet spreads on all weapons increased alot
- New Weapon sounds (most just tweak or changed from v1)
- Kung Fu sounds changed, including the enemy death sounds
- Kung Fu code improved and fixed (Front Jump Dive bug fixed, etc)
- More Enemy A.I improvments
V2 New Features:
- Enemy Footsteps can be heard
- Dual Desert Eagle Weapons Added
- Glock 17 Weapon Added (most enemies use this gun)
- New and Improved menu art
- HUD Text Improved, now looks much better (weapon names, etc)
- Beretta skin is now a 'dirty silver' colour
- Kung Fu is now a seperate weapon (leadpipe is back!)
- Kung Fu animations/kicks/moves updated from Kenneth Yeung's KungFu Edition v1.0+

- MP5 Navy added (dual desert eagles canceld in this version)
- Kung Fu added, but very much tweaked: kick_cam removed, some slow-mo in the kick & dodge moves
- No Bullet-Time Block (because of a problem, couldnt turn B-T on after bullet dodge)
- Bullet-Time increased to around 1000.0 also the regen rate increased around 900.0
- New menu Art, New meny text, "The Payne Again" Level selecter.
- Projectiles visable in pause
- Most Tool-Tips removed in-game (except for the tutorial level)
- Enemy AI improvements, enemys don't react so suddenly
- Weapon powers & clipsizes tweaked (clips are smaler)
- Enemy spawn-with weapons changed, some will use Baseball bat once they run out of ammo (not including mercs, killersuits and aesirsecurity)
- Max Payne skin chages & no more shades
- Max Payne's shooting speeds lowerd, and Wounded health lowerd (you wont stay in wounded animation for long)
- Slow-Mo start-&-stop sounds changed
- Melee hit sounds changed
Known Problems:

* I did have some problems with the HUD when adding the Glock and KungFu, It may just look a bit odd in places.
* You may find that an enemie is shooting a glock but when killed drops a beretta.. this is beacuse I found it very dificault adding the new glock level_item, so in the end I just made sure you picked up some 9mm bullets to add to the glock and beretta.

* Tell me if you do find any errors, crashings, stallings, or get errors on certain levels, etc..
Notes:

Instalation:
--------
Unzip all files (2 files - Lash Modv2.mpm / Lash_Modv2_ReadMe.txt) to your Max Payne folder. Make sure the "Lash Mod.mpm" file is in the Max Payne folder (same folder as your MaxPayne.exe) then run the game, and select "Lash Mod" from the drop down menu, in the dialog box.
Removal:
--------
Just delete the file "Lash Mod.mpm" from your Max Payne DIR -- or just don't select it from the drop down menu in the dialog box when loading Max Payne.
