Formost and frontmost, this mod adds the following abilities to Oblivion:
-Transmute empty soul gems into soul gems of greater power! (1 Petty + 1 Petty = 1 Lesser, 1 Lesser + 1 Lesser = 1 Common, etc.)
-Funnel the souls of two filled soul gems into an empty soul gem of greater power!
-Release souls from soul gems!
But, you can't get something for nothing! So I've included a quest that allows you to earn these abilities.
This quest is accessible during or after the Necromancer Moon quest from the Mages Guild. That means that you must have progressed a certain amount in the Mages Guild quests to access these abilities!
In order to activate the quest, you should look around for any suspicious or out of place objects on, around, or under the altar at the you-know-where where the Necromancer Altar quest brings you. The object won't be there until you've reached this point in the game.
