If your computer is AutoPlay capable, the game installer menu will automatically appear on the screen. Select Install / Uninstall Game from the list to start the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation of the game. If your system is not AutoPlay capable, open the My Computer icon on your Desktop, then double-click the drive letter that represents your CD-ROM drive. Double-click the setup.exe, and continue as set forth in the paragraph above. Web Download ************ Double-click the iceage2_demo_eur.exe. Select the appropriate language from the Choose Setup Language Dialog Box. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation of the game. --------------------------------------------------------------- HINTS --------------------------------------------------------------- * When digging and/or climbing slippery walls, repeatedly tap the action button until the task is complete. --------------------------------------------------------------- KNOWN ISSUES --------------------------------------------------------------- * Slow Performance - Always be sure to upgrade all hardware drivers before contacting Technical Support. Check that your system meets minimum hardware requirements. * Windows XP 64 Bit - Slow performance may be experienced on the Windows XP 64 bit OS due to lack of support. If such performance issues are experienced a possible solution is to use the older video card drivers. * On-Board Video - Slow performance may be experienced while using On-Board video cards. * Controller Configuration - Some controllers or gamepads may not display the correct button assignments in-game. While the controller will function correctly (meaning the button used will perform the action selected) the button number may read different in-game from what is shown in controller configuration utility. * Ice Age 2 not shown on Taskbar - In some instances Ice Age 2 will not be shown on taskbar when it is running. This may occur when Alt-Tab is used to quickly minimize the game and switch to another application running in the background, or when users try to execute both Ice Age 2 and another application before Ice Age 2 loads. We recommend closing and not running any other applications while running Ice Age 2. * Ice Age 2 may stop functioning when Desktop Resolution is changed while the game is running. It is recommended that the user does not minimize the game to make system adjustments. Please Exit out of the application before making any adjustments to your system such as changing desktop resolution, changing the system volume, etc. * Widescreen - When running Ice Age 2 in widescreen setting, your image may look distorted. Ice Age 2 does not support true widescreen modes and will only stretch the image slightly to fill more screen space on a widescreen monitor. * Controllers with left and right analog shoulder buttons may not respond to shoulder button input when both buttons are pressed at the same time. On controllers of this type, We recommend that the user avoid mapping both the first person camera and the shoot function to these two buttons. * On the Xbox 360(TM) USB controller, buttons "LT" and "RT" do not function when pushed down at the same time. Termination. This License is effective until terminated. You may terminate the License at any time by destroying the Program and any New Material. The Licensor may, at its discretion, terminate this License in the event that you fail to comply with the terms and conditions contained herein. In such event, you must immediately destroy the Program and any New Material. 6. Export Controls. The Program may not be re-exported, downloaded or otherwise exported into (or to a national or resident of) any country to which the U.S. has embargoed goods, or anyone on the U.S. Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated National or the U.S. Treasury Department's Table of Denial Orders. However, nothing contained herein shall be construed so as to place an obligation upon Licensor to provide the servers and software technology necessary to utilize the "on-line" component beyond the time that the Program is Out of Publication. 9. Limited Warranty. THE LICENSOR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAM, EDITOR, AND MANUAL(S).
