Short description:
Its a gothic (!!!) style Space Map ... there are 5 flying island connected by small bridges or jump pads. It's a Domination ONLY map... there will be a death match version one month after release of the Domination version

extract the zip file into your baseq3 folder...
- how to play -
* start quake3arena
* go into the mod menue
* select domination
* press load
* go into skirmish or multiplayer
* select domination gamemode
* select dcdom1 and have fun

It's my first map released for Quake 3. I have made before some never released
Doom maps and several Half Life maps , one released (catch it at my hp under stuff).
Some infos on system requirements .. my own system is no standard system
(Dual 488 , Geforce DDR etc.) so i tested the map on several systems.
Because of the average r_speed of ~13k i get on small systems very low fps.
Intel 233MMX, 64MB Ram, Voodoo2 8MB ---> ~12FPS (details low)
Celeron 333, 64MB Ram, TNT 1 -----------> ~20FPS (details high)
Dual Cel 488,256MB Ram, Geforce DDR ----> ~70FPS (details high)
Bots are CPU killer, that is no secret so the fps drops ony my
system with 11 Bots on Hardcore down to ~25fps. i don't know if
this is high or low but i think everyone knows that q3a is a
brand new game with hard system requirements.. so please don't
write me emails with "its runs to slow" etc. i know that this map
needs a good system.
My second map i'm working on are actually at a r_speed of 2000 , without
weapon drawing 1200 ... this would be a small tourney level...
so i think a good system to play it on the net with others (8 players) and
not bots would be run smooth on a P2 450/Celeron 433 with at least a TNT2
or something similar @ 800@16bit with details high.. this system is not
tested but i think it works nice on them
