Hi there,
I have decided to release this jersey pack instead of letting it collect dust on my hardrive. This is a nice collection of jerseys celebrating the World Cup of 1966. That's it - read on. . .

What's in this zip file;
1. this readme,
2. the fsh files for the jerseys, and
3. CLASSIC_BALL.ZIP
Hi there,
It is odd to be writing this readme file as I consider this file as my very last offering for Fifa 99. I have done over a 150 different kits, various graphic patches, and a roster for the game and am proud of the body of work that I have added to the on-line world of Fifa 99. Special thanks to all those that have written me over the past year and offered me support.
This zip contains the complete home and away kits for the brave nations that competed at World Cup 1966 in England. Here you will find the kits for all the clubs that battled for the Jules Rimet Trophy. Each file is designed with the aid of Jed 99 and contains the appropriate colors for each jersey. I also threw in a classic pigskin ball that I scalped from WC98 so the game will look that much better.
As a note to the contruction of the kits: each one of them was ruthlessly researched. I used mail-order catalogues like Toffs and research at the University of Lethbridge library to come up with the accurate looks for each club. If you use the default colors, you will get the right look for each team. (I can not remember what the shorts and socks look like, so you will have to tough it out.)
This collection was part of an abortive attempt to construct a patch to recreate the 66 World Cup. I completed all of the rosters, had done every search to match all of the audio, edited the fe, and even made a few stadiums. But, since my father deleted everything during a visit home during reading week and I had nothing backed up (owing to the fact that I had done significant work on his computer) the patch was never finished. But the kits were. . .
Enjoy and see you for Fifa 2k (damn, it lopks good!),
Glenn Shepherd
(PS - If you are bent on making a few of the teams from the tournament to have on your game go to http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Sideline/8601/ where you will find all the info you need.)
(PPS - Don't bother hunting around for the audio for Eusebio - it is not there.)
Warning!!

As if I have to tell any of you this. . . THIS FILE WILL OVERWRITE so backup anything you want to save.
