Grand Prix Legends captures this experience in one of the most accurate and compelling racing simulations ever created. Based on an advanced 3-D modeling engine, the driving feel has been authentically created. Cars slide, drift, bounce and skid with frightening realism. As your skills improve, you can start giving the legends of the era some serious competition: race against greats like Jack Brabham, Jim Clark and Graham Hill.
Welcome to Grand Prix Legends.
The year is 1967. Jack Brabham is Formula 1 World Champion and is partnered at
his own team by Denny Hulme. Jim Clark is at the height of his racing powers
and is partnered by former World Champion Graham Hill at Lotus. Future 3-times
World Champion Jackie Stewart is racing for BRM. Another former champion, John
Surtees, is driving for Honda. Bruce McLaren competes in his own car as does
Dan Gurney in his All-American Racing Eagle. At Ferrari, Mike Parkes, Chris
Amon and Lorenzo Bandini form another powerful line-up. Joachim Rindt, Jo
Bonnier and Pedro Rodrigues all line up on the grid in Coopers.
Grand Prix Legends takes you to another era of racing, with the authentic feel
of being a real race car driver and to the time where the man behind the wheel
was more important than the machine and the driver was the one and only "on
board computer" and a car's delicate balance depended on the right-foot of a
man brave enough to navigate tracks that wound their way through the forests,
country sides and villages of post-war Europe, while reaching speeds in excess
of 185 mph and while sitting in a fragile magnesium and aluminum tub filled
with 40 gallons of highly volatile and exotic fuel and... no seat belts.
Now it is your chance to pit your racing skills against the true greats of
Formula 1.

numerous and more substantial updates that have been developed for GPL by
individuals who are merely avid fans of this fantastic racing simulation.
No attempts or changes has been made to alter the limits of the original demo.
