X/fleshworm-map and game suggestions, and some gg's. -------------------RioTZ Server info!--------------------------------------------------- MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HAVE A gamex86.dll IN YOUR KINGPIN FOLDER OR THE SERVER WILL NOT RUN CORRECTLY. Extract the contents of the server zip file to your kingpin folder. The riotz.cfg and the server.cfg are the files that have the server settings. there are instrucion lines pertaining to the server settings. NOTES: As of the first BETA release we only have TEAM play mode available. FFA DM will be in our next release. The admin functions of the original monkey mod code have been disabled in this BETA release! To run a dedicated server: kingpin +set dedicated 1 +set game riotz +exec server.cfg For a private server: Or you can make a shortcut of the kingpin.exe and right click the shortcut and click on properties and make the target line say this "C:\Kingpin\kingpin.exe +set game riotz +exec server.cfg" <----no quotation marks at end or beginning. This will run a server on your computer without broadcasting on gamespy. Then you just have to give peeps your IP so they can manually connect with KP's ingame server address book. -------------------RioTZ's-meager-plot------------------------- Areas of big cities have been vacated by all the sane people who no longer want to deal with the endless RioTing of the MoBsters and Gangsters trying to gain a foot hold on precious Virtual ghetto Realty space!!! Join the MoBsterz or Gangsterz in an attempt to claim the streets for your own. -------------------RioTZ game Info--------------------- RioTZ is a round based MOD. When a map starts u pick a team Mobsterz or Gangsterz and are spawned into the map with these weapons/amounts pipe- 1 is enough to bat someone just in case u run outta ammo. pistol-shares same ammo as tommygun whip it out for braggin rights! Shotgun-8 shells Tommygun- 150 bullets (3 clips) HMG- 30 bullets (1 clip, 10 shots of 3) Grenade launcher- 1 grenade Rocket Launcher- 5 rockets Flamer- 1 tank of 50 units. 100% light armor(head body legs)<-for those wondering why we didn't do 100% heavy Armor I'll tell yah that we originally did and it was suckin up all the ammo for just 1 guy. After spawning you try to frag away without dying because you only have 1 life per round. If you get fragged you become a spectator and can watch the rest of the action with kingpin's standard spec modes. When all of one team is wiped out the round is WON by the surviving team! The Map is WON by the team who wins the most total rounds possible for a win (i.e. BEST 3 out of 5, 4 out of 7 and so on depending on how many rounds you set the maps to. New feature: You can taunt anytime you want, not just in front of another player! use 'key1' or 'key3' to taunt. -----------------RioTZ mapping INFO---------------------------- In the riotz mapping process do not put ammo/weapons/health/armor/hmg,pistolMODS in the map Try to make maps large enough to compliment a 12 player game. if you are making a smll riotz map place a readme with map file stating how many players the map was intended for. The 3 riotz maps we have were intended for 12 players. The RIoTZ team are releaseing map packs monthly that will compliment MOD.
